Sweet Little Creatures
Zan celebrated his 4th bday yesterday. These kids are amazing. Not much more to say … I wish I could have more time for my two little treasures.
I got him a kiddy laptop(of course;)), and Jaka got a delayed guitar;)

Wedding Or PhD? What’s More Important?
No, no, no … this is certainly not my latest dilemma … but today one of my cousins is getting married. I was, of course, invited. And I had to decline the invitation. My mom understood (the bride is the daughter of her sister). But her mom called me and I sensed a whiff of disappointment in her voice.
I totally understand, her only daughter is getting married and she would like to share this with the world. But, on the other hand, my mother’s only daughter is just a blink away from what can be perceived as quite exciting moment as well - finishing PhD. From my currently extremely selfish position, which I learned to develop through this period of writing and self-centrism as, in my tentative conclusion, the only way to finish, my handing in is just as much important as getting married (*at the moment* I have to emphasise, one day, *of course* I want that as well, lol).
Well, so today, I am not gonna go and support my cousin getting married, although I wish her all the best. Instead, I am gonna be sitting here, fine-tuning Chapter 6 to be sent to proofreading.
After all, finishing a PhD is still more or less one-time-occurrence;)))

Just Some Cookies!
Yesterday I went home to visit my mum, before I go skiing. And of course, I had to look in on my two little nephews, too. The younger one, Jaka (seven months) had some sort of cold and poor baby was throwing up at the time of my visit. The older one, Zan (two years and 3 months) wasn’t even at home. I took my brother’s dog (which I love as it would be mine) for a walk and when I and Brix came back, Zan had just returned home as well.
A tiny voice coming out of the car: “Bojana, Bojana!” His mother let him out, he ran to me and I quickly took the opportunity to take this picture.
Then he said: “Bojana, Bojana, come on in, let’s go to my room!” I wanted a kiss first;) There are no words to describe a joy and happiness I am feeling when being around this little boy. We entered the house, he immediately turned the light on in the corridor, taking my winter jacket and a scarf off. Then I had to run after him into his new room (he had a smaller one before), he was being extremely proud of it. He sat down into his little chair, ready for me to take another picture of him.

Happy Birthday, Angie!!!!!!!!!!
My darling mum has turned 50 today. And I almost forgot to congratulate her. The bday party took place yesterday, and that was the reason. I rang her this morning and asked her how she felt. After a while of chatting I ended our conversation by saying: Ok mum, have fun and take care. And then: Bojana, but you haven’t congratulate on my bday yet. Ups …. Anyway, am not good at expressing long and poetic congratulations so I will keep it short and simple: I love you, mum:))). And the present? Am taking her to Istanbul next week.

Would Be Nice To Play With …
… these two little chaps. My two nephews, Zan (he has just turned two) and Jaka (only 6 months) are my favorite way of relaxing and letting all the nasty worries go. When I have a chance to play with them, I just forget that the rest of the world exists. Zan is especially cute since he already have some sort of conversations with me. E.g. he keeps telling me how he loves his granny (my mum). Then when I pretend to be sad cos he wouldn’t mention how he misses and loves me, he comes closer, gives me a cute little hug and says: Zani loves Nana, too. The other day I tried to talk to him on the phone but he just said: where’s my granny? Grrrr, my mum meets him almost every day. I must admit I am jealous:))) So I cant wait till next weekend when ill have a bit time to go visit my boys and give them huge hugs.
