Rules on my desk
For more disciplined writing, I wrote down some rules I am trying to follow more or less successfully:
Rule 1: Make writing a daily activity, whether feeling like it or not!!
Rule 2: Write on a regular basis (!), even if small amounts!
Rule 3: Organise writing tasks in terms of time and sequence!
Rule 4: Keep daily charts of: –> time spent for writing;
–> pages written!
Rule 5: Send your work to people to receive much appreciated comments!
Rule 6: Writing is not to be subjected to weather conditions!
Rule 7: If you fail to follow these rules, bear in mind, that there are no exception to these rules!
Rule 8: “Easy cheesy” , “piece of cake” , “no problem” , “I can do it”, “I love it!” …… are the words to be used whenever you encounter with a writing blockage!
Anything else to be added?

If you write when you don’t feel like it, it will most probably not be qualitative product… sometimes it is better to wait for inspiration
