Naked!

As seen, Con Brio got undressed a few days ago (=lost all its graphic appearance) as it has to get its cloths washed from time to time (=the server with the pics went down;)). Now, waiting for the laundry to get Con Brio its cloths back any time now (=asap the server is up again;)).

Giving birth to a PhD

is a difficult task. Much more difficult, as having a baby, according to these 11 reasons:

REASONS WHY WRITING A DISSERTATION IS HARDER THAN HAVING A BABY

1. Three months before your due date, your doctor doesn’t say, “I want you to go back and re-do the first trimester’s work.”

2. Unlike advisors, you can switch doctors without having to start over.

3. Conceiving a baby is WAY more fun than conceiving a topic.

4. You know exactly how long a pregnancy takes.

5. Friends and relatives don’t question the worth of a baby.

6. You don’t need to explain repeatedly to friends and family what it takes to make a baby and why you’re not through yet.

7. No one will make you go to grad. school before having a baby.

8. Everyone will say your baby is cute and you’ll believe them.

9. Babies don’t require proper footnoting or adherence to a style manual.

10. You can freely borrow other people’s stuff if you’re having a baby and not be accused of plagiarism.

11. No one will complain if your baby is too similar to another one.

But, then a friend, who already completed her PhD and also gave birth to a beautiful little girl, says having a baby is much harder than writing up the thesis.

So, what’s harder then? Huh, I still have to do both to find out;))

Depeche Mode

It was incredible. I knew all the songs, so there was no surprise on that side, but their performance and erotic charge of David Gahan was outstanding.

Writing?

Writing. Writing.
Writing. Writing. Writing.
Obviously writing.
Miserable writing.
Surely writing.
Absently writing.
Passionately writing.
Sweet writing.
Lost in writing.
Possessed by writing.
Disgusted by writing.
Unbearable writing.
Empty-headed writing.
No writing.
Starved to be writing.
Urged to be writing.
Released by writing.
Amazed by writing.
Actualised by writing.
Submissively writing.
Aching writing.
Traumatized writing.
Only writing.
Yesterday today tomorrow writing.

Not giving up writing!

Bruges / Brugge

Yesterday it was a sunny day in Belgium. David suggested, that would be great to go and visit Bruges. So we went. At Gare Centrale the platform 6 was packed with people - apparently everyone decided to visit Bruges on such a nice day. I had a pleasure to listen to a lovely English accent (a girl next seat) all the way there.

Impressions? Quite popular tourist destination, very cute with all the canals, tons of chocolate shops and restaurants, yummy tea room, horse carriages everywhere.
And again, I ate waterzooi - it transpired not to be such a good idea, as I still can’t eat anything, was soooo creaaaaamy!
