Just Some Cookies!

Yesterday I went home to visit my mum, before I go skiing. And of course, I had to look in on my two little nephews, too. The younger one, Jaka (seven months) had some sort of cold and poor baby was throwing up at the time of my visit. The older one, Zan (two years and 3 months) wasn’t even at home. I took my brother’s dog (which I love as it would be mine) for a walk and when I and Brix came back, Zan had just returned home as well.

A tiny voice coming out of the car: “Bojana, Bojana!” His mother let him out, he ran to me and I quickly took the opportunity to take this picture.

Then he said: “Bojana, Bojana, come on in, let’s go to my room!” I wanted a kiss first;) There are no words to describe a joy and happiness I am feeling when being around this little boy. We entered the house, he immediately turned the light on in the corridor, taking my winter jacket and a scarf off. Then I had to run after him into his new room (he had a smaller one before), he was being extremely proud of it. He sat down into his little chair, ready for me to take another picture of him.

But not for long! In the next second I had to follow him to the living room. He went to Jaka, gave him a kiss and asked: “Jaki, are you feeling any better?” Jaka had just fallen asleep so me and Zan went back to his room. We were reading his new book about Muri-cat a bit, then played with a jig-saw puzzle a bit, then we were singing a bit, and finally he went and sit in my mother’s lap. Before going home, I asked him what did he want me to get him from my trip. “A present”, he replayed. “What kind of present?” “Cookies!” What a modest child!Yeh, my little brother did a great job, having these two little chaps. Beside all the pleasure I get when I am around them, there is another good thing to it. My mum has her grandchildren, so she doesn’t give me any hassle for not having a kid yet.
