Earthquaaake

I just talked to a friend who asked me if I had felt a slight earthquake at 9ish or so. Nope. I didn’t. I went to check on Slovenian Environmental Agency web sites and learned that actually two moderate earthquakes occurred at 8.58am and 9.05 am this morning. They hit by magnitude 4,1 for the first one and 3,8 for the second one. The centre was Cerkno, which lies on a western part of Slovenia and that’s why my friend felt it. She lives quite near by. Also some people in Ljubljana felt it but not Bojana:)).
Ljubljana has a serious history of earthquake’s hits. The first one took place back in 1511, and after that one Ljubljana needed to be partly rebuilt. Then, in 1895 a massive earthquake destroyed much of the city, razing most of it to the ground.
